Our analyses help farmers become more resilient, financial institutions provide the financing needed and agricultural supply chains become carbon neutral.
We are a startup backed by the Australian Government’s Clean Energy Finance Corporation and have aspirations to be one of the biggest global businesses in supporting nature based solutions to climate change.
We are growing at pace in this exciting and swiftly evolving space and our team is composed of global experts who are passionate about delivering real solutions to climate change. Our Chief Scientist is the former Chief Scientist for UNEP and Executive Director of the European Environment Agency. Our management team also includes previous CEOs of global energy companies and heads of business development at global data businesses with successful exits.

While the company was only incorporated in February 2021, we already have strong traction with some of Australia’s largest financial institutions and agricultural players and are looking for an outstanding product manager to support us in cementing these discussions and delivering the products they need from us.
This role presents the opportunity to have not only meaningful impact on global climate solutions but also share in the growth of the company, with the successful candidate to be offered share options at an early stage in our company journey.
Your responsibilities will include growing our farmer and partner network nationally, driving enterprise level agreements with our institutional customers, engaging customers across the value chain and developing our suite of products to measure carbon, water and biodiversity.
You will be an excellent communicator, commercially minded, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to drive exponential growth and keen to develop our national go-to-market strategy.
Australia is not only an initial target market for us but a key area of focus for natural capital solutions globally.
This role is remote but based in Australia, other team members are based in Adelaide so that would be an advantage. The team works out of the UK, Continental Europe, Australia, Canada, Middle East and Africa and all speak English fluently. This role reports into our Co-founder and Chief Development Officer.
What does the job involve?
- Drive sales and strategic partnerships for our existing product lines nationally
- Build our farmer network across the country
- Drive engagement and pilots with flagship companies in the agri-food supply chain and financial services at national level
- Understand, articulate and prioritise all user requirements and product innovation specifications across verticals
- Develop appropriate product pricing and commercials
- Articulate the national go to market strategy
- Marketing strategy including communications, product launch planning and marketing materials for Australia and in coordination with global team
- Engage with regulators and other certification bodies in Australia
What skills and experience do I need?
- Commercial acumen and demonstrable success in high growth businesses
- Experience delivering products / projects to global financial institutions and large corporations
- Experience working collaboratively and successfully in diverse environments with R&D, engineering and business development teams situated around the world
- Experience with end user engagement and articulating, documenting and prioritising user requirements
- Clear communicator and networker, with excellent verbal and written skills, able to effectively engage with all stakeholders and with gravitas when presenting to customers, senior executives and c-level audiences
The ideal candidate will also have experience in some of these areas:
- Product / project management experience
- AgTech experience
- Startup / scale up experience
- Degree in technology from top tier university with a scientific / technology background
